I found that I was getting a somewhat cryptic error message at startup. \"Error:Partition 1 on harddisk 1 is not UNKNOWN.The system is FAT16Do you want to correct the error?\"Although I was not sure what that meant, clicked yes and got similar messages for the other two partitions. After clicking yes, I got to the main program.I think it was indicating the wrong partition as the boot partition, but could not find out how to correct it.What I really need to do is re-create / repair the MBR, but again I am not sure how to do ...

I always used to use an older version of fdisk that came with windows 98/ME on a floppy. But when I bought a one terrabyte hard drive and tried to fdisk it with my old version, I found that it only recognised half of the terrabyte.So I downloaded your Super fdisk 1.0 version and not only could I fdisk the whole 1 terrabyte partition, I also made a boot cd disk and threw the old floppy drive away.Its easy to use, easy to see what your doing.And less confusing if you have more than one h/drive.Brian Australia.

I found this program very, very useful! The download process did not require popups nor stupid registrations.This program was easy to configure and operate. The graphic user interface shows the drives available and their current settings. Dragging and moving the partition boundaries with the mouse showed you exactly what changes could be made.Since the program can make changes without reformatting the drive, you can adjust partition sizes on the fly. That feature was exactly what I needed to perform on my new, empty 500gig drive. And the program changed my 80gig backup drive without losing any data too. ...

I am quite pleased with Partition Manager. I encountered a partition error on my hard drive. Because of the error I could not recover the hard drive and had been unable to overcome the error in order to use the hard drive. Partition Manager enabled me to delete the partitions (something I had been unable to do any other way), restore my backup and saved me from throwing away a good hard drive. I don\'t know what actions Partition Manager may not be capable of, but I sure like what it did for me.

had no luck with converting a FAT32 to FAT and utilizing it with software that requires FAT. The computer says it is FAT but it may be my hardware/software. The program is very easy to use and simple to understand. If you know what partitions are, then you can figure this program out without a Readme.txt file. Two thumbs up.

The program did not allow me to view the partitions I needed to access, and did nothing to help me in my hour of need.

I have Vista 64 bit, and needed to increase I have Vista 64 bit, and needed to increase my C:\ partition. I had extra free space on the first partition. I could not for my life figure out how to resize\move my C;\ partition. I later learned about shrink, extend program that comes with Vista and used that. I therefore uninstalled EASUS Partition MAnager. If it is at all possible to recize and enlarge a partiton with EASUS, then I feel it should be made clearer as of how toThank you anyways for letting me try. fat32 to ntfs on new acer notebook I couldn't get the main partition converted to ntfs from fat 32. The drive was locked? Had to boot in safe mode and do windows file conversion from dos prompt. convert c: /fs:ntfs (volume name was acer) and was able to convert files without losing data. I first tried to transfer all files from one partion to another and covert to ntfs then transfer the files back but, files were in use and couldn't be moved or copied. I am still hesitant to consolidate the partitions - afraid I will lose data. It seems that consolidating partitions reformats the drive ...

My answer to you email It's really nice of you to be interested in people's opinion for you product. I think it's really perfect product. I liked it very much. The problem is that i can't affort to buy it because i need to use it just once. Would be easier to format HDD. But the product is really nice, good for big companies where no one can format and loose info. I was searching for something free:)

CPM never got off the ground I downloaded Cut Partition Manager 0.9.1 and had it create an ISO image, which I burned to CD. The CD looked blank and when I booted with it, nothing happened.I tried again using the burn to CD option with the same results. Not impressed thus far.

Cute partition manager is fine, but. This software seems very good to me. However, I was looking for a solution to resize the system partition "on the fly", and it seemed to me that this was not possible with this nonetheless very useful tool. Thank you.
